Ummm, youre probably thinking of Carnivale which was cancelled last year. Deadwood is about the mining town of Deadwood, South Dakota in the 1870's. It's basically a "western," to use the term lightly.

Yeah, carnivale is the one I'm thinking of, that show sucked.
