dBA Question

i am getting some new fans. 2 x 80mm that run at 27.4dBA and a 120mm that runs at 32.95dBA and i was wondering what the total volume would be. would it be 32.95 cos it drowns out the other fans or what?. thanx in advance

Roughly 33.5 (I didnt do an exact calculation for the 120mm fan as it would require complex calculations to be exact)

I don't know how you got that, but I'd say the 120mm fan would drown out the other fans.

Then again, anything below 35dBa is hard to hear, so I don't know if it'll really "drown" them out.

Decibels doubble every 3db, so 25 + 25 = 28. Than I did some other funky math that I am not sure is right.

i just went to google and found out that normal conversation is about 40-60dBA so my fans should be pretty quiet.

My fan is 43dBa and its nowhere near normal conversation.
