Yes, I used GoDaddy myself, not a bit of problems. The expensive part is (if you choose to do so) buying website templates. I like the email as well, I can register a lot of emails with my site. Pretty handy.

I was referred to Host Monster, but before that I was looking at Host Gator. GoDaddy is alright, but some of the stuff gets expensive...I'm looking at all my options, but I'm building the site first.
