So my chipset fan died on me. Made some weird noises for a day or so before it finally went to the scrape piles. Any Advice on what is a good chipset fan to get as a replacement or must I get the same one that origanally came with my motherboard ASUS A8N-SLI?

It didn't die. Recent trend, from what I can gather, with chipset fans are they are usually not oiled properly. Just find the mounting screws, take the fan off, peel off the little sticker on the back, put 1-2 drops of sewing machine oil and then put it all back (give it a few spins before you put it back though).
My MSI's fan was doing the same thing, it died for a week once, but that little fix saved its life

This is a cheap and silent solution. It'll work even better if you have an intake fan on the side of your case.
