Chest pain

Recently, I've been having some chest pain only upon breathing in.
If I breathe in with small breaths, its not noticeable.
I have no health insurance, so I believe that going to the Doctor is the last resort.
It will cost me in excess of 1000$.

Any suggestions or ideas on fixing this?
Do you think I should check out the doctor?
