do you just want it to play MP3 or MP4 too?

I just got a DAH-1500I which is pretty good, not sure it comes into the "cheap" category though..

I bought thisMP3 player from this seller a couple months ago.

I got the 2 gig version though. I don't know why some parts of the description is in spanish. It wasn't like that when i bought mine.
It is the cheapest MP3 player that i could find with a lcd screen. You can also watch music videos on it if you really want to.

The only downside to it is that the software on it isn't that great.
But it works great for I wanted it for.

I would probably buy it again for the such a cheap price.

You could probably find a different one from that same seller that is a different style.

This one will cost you around 55$ :)

It was the 2 gig version i got though. The only downside i had for it was the software wasn't that good, but it serves it's purposes well.
I would buy it if i were you, because it is only around 60$.
Oh yeah you can also watch music videos on it if you want.

My browser frooze i didn't realize that my other post got through. That is why i put up this second one that is almost identical

Will I able to put my our music files... or I have to use software?

I found this really cheap iriver on price grabber. Choose your site because I don't know which one you'd find reputable. http://www.pricegrabber.com/p__iRiver_T30_1GB_MP3_Player,__11878928
Iriver is a great company. I have one of the older ifp models and it still works great. The batter lasts for like 15 hours and it's pretty small and light. It's got a voice recorder and FM tuner. You do need the software to use them.
This one is a newer SanDisk that I found on Best Buy .com. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...CategoryId=pcmcat63100050013&id=1138086672335
They also make pretty good quality mp3 players. From my experience they make more no frills players, but that may have just been an older player I looked at.
I know for a fact that this one http://www.pcmall.com/pcmall/shop/d...gn=email,pwbfroogle&wt.mc_id=pwbfroogleneeded and you can take files back off of it, unlike many other players. You can also upgrade the flash memory by buying a bigger card. It is, however, one of those SanDisk no frills players. It is pretty small though. The headphones it comes with are also good, because they fit right into your ears and block out sound from outside. They have these rubber things on them that look kind of wierd, but they are effective.

I would pretty much reccomend the Iriver, only because I have had more experience with them, and I know for a fact that they are a great company. You can, by the way, download the drivers and software needed to use the Iriver off of their web site, or buy another disk from them, should you lose the original. I have this Iriver which I just found now. http://www.shentech.com/ifp799t.html
Why it's so ex*****ve I do now know, as it's relatively old.

PS. It censored expeansive. Thought I was trying to hide the word *****.

I do. Just look at the features and see which one you like best. I think the cheapest one didn't have an FM tuner. For cheap ones SanDisk I also reccomend, but like I said, I have more experience with Iriver. It basically comes down to how many features you are looking to sacrifice. I would reccomend finding some Iriver and SanDisk players you like and comparing them to each other. Make a spreadsheet and list all the players, then list all the features and their price and look for which one has the best features for the best price. That's what I did when I was shopping for my laptop. I ended up only paying 611 bucks for something that isn't bad for what I use it for. The same principal applies to anything you want to buy. Do a little comparison shopping of your own. That way you'll be getting what you really want. I can only reccomend companys with cheap players that are of good quality. You decide which models you want.
