Ill just say this, unless you are married to that girl, I wouldnt buy her a phone, especially not one inwhich she needs to pay for the contract and such. Women have a way of making the man pay for their cell phone bill.

I know that, thats why i wanted something free like skype.

I think i am going to just get 2 skype phones so me and her can talk for free.

I don't care about buying her stuff I just hate having to pay monthly fees unless its my car, internet, house, ect but that stuff is down the line just like a monthly phone bill.

i dont see how your home phone can lag unless you have a really crappy wireless phone

my parents got corded phones recently and still lags. We are using voip phones i think. Its like vonage only its through D&E and the phone goes through our internet for $25.00 a month i think.
