Okay, so here's the thing.

I installed my radio. I couldn't figure out why, but whenever I put the radio into the dash, the audio got cut, but the radio itself appeared to be playing.

I wrapped the radio in duct tape to "expiriment" and it worked...

So I thought, why would that work? I checked, and my ground was not properly connected. When I reconnected it, BAM, no sound. The radio works 100% when the Ground is not connected, but not when it is, any reason this could happen?

If you ground a wire and it makes it stop working, then that isn't a ground wire. There must be current of some kind going to that wire. Remove the radio, reconnect all wires using splicers or something better than tape, double check the wiring diagram to be sure everything is correct.

I took the ground wire out and manually ground it to a bolt on the body of the car and it still does it.

Is there any other possibility?
