Well, hmm....is there anyway i can build a Notebook with just the basics like word processor and internet for under USD500? I was thinking of gaming but maybe ill just design that :O

Well, if you want, i can get you some thing second hand for that price. You would be looking at a P-III 700, 13-14 TFT Display, 10 Gb Hard Drive, MAYBE a CDRW.

But again, you do not build Notebooks.
