Thank god i live in Canada,I couldn't imagine paying that much money for slow internet,I pay $40 for 3 meg cable and i love it,You should try sweet talking your mom and kiss a$$ as much as you can

Lol.. She's like my parents. We had dialup for so long, we werent paying much for it but compared to ADSL plans it would have worked out cheaper because of the amount of times I dial up every day. Basically it took me good part of two years to convince them to get ADSL. I used excuses such as the phone bill and sharing the internet between our computers, the phone and net at the same time..etc. But as your already on adsl, you can't really use them. We ended up gettin 1.5 dl /256 ul throttled to 64k after 20gb from TPG - $49.95 a month. I know for a fact I'm never going to go over 20gig.
Unless your family is scraping around for food money everyday, then just be happy with what you've got.

yeah, good point, but it just doesnt make sense, going from a more expensive plan, to a cheaper one
