You only want to get involved with that if you know what you are doing. I do appologise if I sound blunt, but I am tired of cleaning up after some back-yard-tech.
And that goes for all appliances. Not just computers.

Reminds me of one particular "backyard tech" type guy who brings other people's broken computers into my store and have us fix them, then charges his "customers" enough to make a bit of profit. He clearly knows next to squat about computers but at least he knows better than to screw them up himself.

Yeah, well, I might try to build a low budget computer then sell it for a small mark up, but I'll see how it goes.
