A beautiful sight

Today I was coming home on the train from Portsmouth, I was with my girlfriend and we had had an awful journey as they were carrying out maintenance on the tracks, however when I arrived in town above the station were these birds (starlings I think) doing a formation. It was wonderful to see and I manged to take a video on my camera..

Now that's awesome , never saw anything like it before. They are pretty in-synced as they fly as a group yet don't hit each other. Sweet man!

that's crazy though, much more interesting than the usual "V" formations i've seen around here.

Birds blow my mind with how they do that. In the spring the blackbirds come through heading north. They are like huge clouds, but they will pivot on a dime and never miss a beat. either they have it together or they are just following the rectum in front of them. Even odds, I guess.
