ok so my uncle brought me some movies from australia getting square and ned kelly. i whatched getting square on a comp but they wont work on a dvd player is there a way to get them to work, they read but it says wrong region.

Look for the make an model of your DVD player an see if you can find the region free code.

Copy them to your pc using dvd shrink and it removes the copy protection and region lock.

go down to your local chinatown and look for a new dvd player

il look for the region code, im guessing itl be a combination of buttosn to press on the remote, i reformated my digital cable box by accident once, by pressing certain buttons in the proper order, did it by accident tho lol.

nope, that's not how region codes work. you can't just punch in a code like that.
