Australia intervenes in Solomon Islands

I haven't seen it on the news at all in the states. It might be on the BBC but nobody ever watches that here. I only saw it while reading Yahoo News by chance.
I always thought that Australia had a pretty good military but you never hear about it, kind of cool to see it doing something. I didn't really know anything about the Solomon Islands either, didn't expect there to be any trouble there.

Australia beefs up Solomons force

Australia is doubling the number of troops it is sending to the Solomon Islands following riots in protest over the new Prime Minister Snyder Rini.
