ok my friend jay (the one with the BBQ sauce) has really gotten me into paintball and let me use his bro's gun everytime but im gonna buy a gun of my own and he said that some of the best brands are tippman and spyder but i was looking on xpaintball.com and cam across this gun.

http://www.xpaintball.com/gtcom2paingu.html

has anyone used it or does anyone know if its any good?

just want to know cause it's cheap looks cool and im cheap and only have about 50$ but can save up(20 or 30$ including goggles wont take very long to save up).

I don't know about avalon, but spyders are horrible. I think you should just save up and get tippman 98 custom pro basic. You would problably be better off going to a paintball specific forum and asking. I am new to it too.

Well Avalon aren't by any means good. Spyder aren't bad but they aren't good. Tippman are sturdy and good for new players. I would look into Spyder, 32 degrees, and Tippman.

my friend play pro they have $1200 guns i think they are DM9s with electronic hoppers these guns are so fast they have to tune them down at tornaments to meet the 15 balls per second rule.

btw spiders are cheap but they are ok they are no where near the best i just talked to him today.

Your friend must not know much about paintball. Tippman is ok, not very good not very bad, spyder....sucks ***. Dye, Angel, Proto , Eclipse, Indian Creek, Bob Long, ShockTech, that's all I can think of but those are all top of the line 1k plus guns.

For a average gun get a Smart Parts Ion,
http://www.anythingxtreme.com/Smart-Parts-Paintball-Guns-C1361.aspx
330$ best gun for that price. My friend has a bunch of guns from high end to low end and he lets me shoot them when we go paintballing.

Hope this helps.

sorry i am not in my mind right now any ways he said the gun was "alright" he did not say the gun was good just "ok"

For spending $330 on a Smart Parts ION you can just buy an ICD BKO. A store online was having a sale on them for like $250, and they are much higher quality than any Smart Parts. Pros use these guns.
