I have some cheap wally-world airsoft guns. 2 pistols and a shotgun. They are cheap but they are good if your on a budget and want to have a good time.
I still prefer paintball more than airsoft. I just have more fun playing it than with airsoft. It has something to do with the feeling of getting hit between the 6mm plastic bb and a .68 paintball. Both are still immensly fun.

I would definitely say that I prefer airsoft over pb because you can play almost anywhere. I also have a Classic Army G36K which is awesome. I'm currently in the market for a gas HK MK23 if anyone has a used one, preferably with the supressor.

Paintball and airsoft are so different, I don't think there's a reasonable way to compare them. They both have their pluses. But this thread is about airsoft.
IMO, the biggest plus with airsoft is the expense, as in not as expensive to shoot. (I don't count the gear since everything has gear and everyone can get as much or as little as they want). I shoot the airsoft 100x more than PB.
My experience with the airsoft paintballs is that they really suck since they don't want to function in the rifle and they don't splatter like they should. Of course, if I wizzed 'em out of my rifle faster, I guess they would "break" better (hopefully not in the barrel).
Another problem is that the plastic BBs seem to curve way to soon (about 20 yards out of my battery-powered M4). The nice thing is that my M4 can send out a lot of plastic in a short time!
I do like outside, night time excursions. I like setting up in the dark and waiting for victims (usually my 2 sons, hehe).
What kinda' games do you play with your Airsoft? Or what scenarios?

you should try a scenario where...
you have 3 or 4 people on ambush, and 3 or 4 people on escort....
With 1 VIP. he has to make it from point A->B. Without getting hit.. If the VIP gets hit, the game ends
The catch is that he is only packing a pistol with 1 clip.

That would be interesting!
We've done a "hunting" scenario where a single person gets a 10 minute or so head start into the woods and the hunters have 2 hours to find him. Depending upon the size of the area and the amount of hunters would determine the actual time that the person has to avoid the hunters, or kill 'em!
My ghillie suit works wonders in that one!

yea I play, i just got a utg mp5. Its the cheapest but best starter aeg out there until utg comes out with their ak47. Its $100 for the gun, 3 mags (2 high cap 1 low), sling, battery, and charger.
