Does anybody on this forum know anything about X-10 Powerhouse outlets that can be controlled by a computer system, remote, or timer? Are there any security features in place in order to prevent the X-10 hardware from being turned on/off from a computer with X-10 software installed and connected to the same internal house wiring as the outlets? What I mean is, if a computer with X-10 software and the X-10 controller outlet is plugged into an outlet connected to an existing X-10 system, can it change the state of outlets on the existing system, even though it is not supposed to? What happens when you install two X-10 systems on the same electric wiring? Can one X-10 system control units on the other?
Anyone have X-10 Powerhouse?
