I read too much, today (out of college) I have read about Fundemental Particles, Algebra (solving quadratic fractions mainly) and a Environmental Impact report that was released yesterday.

My favorite series is the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, but my favorite single book is the Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison.

On the average, I read 100K pages a year. It's almost an obsession. I have just finished the Gunslinger (book one of Dark tower) and an starting on the second. I have read all of Tolkens works, Robert Jordan and Terry Goodkinds as well. I read a lot mostly because I like it. It gives you a way to see things different from others by use of your imagination. FInished the Davinci Code on a flight from DC to Anchorage and loved it. But i have not started any other Brown works. I'm mostly into Fantacy, i.e, Brooks, Jordan, Goodkind, Tolkien, King; but I do enjoy some good fiction and even non-fiction now and then.

To me, the best books of all time were the Douglas Adams Hitchhikers guide series. oh man those were friggin great. Such a shame he passed away. Now im onto reading about security n stuff. "Art of deception" by kevin mitnick is a good book, but "Takedown" by Tsutomu Shimomura is even better. It is a story about how he took mitnick down. I enjoyed reading it on the metro to and from work each day. I would get mad when it came to my stop to get off. Can anybody recommend any authors who are about as funny as Douglas Adams?

OH MY GOD, I for got to mention Douglas Adams. I'm so ashamed of my self now. I love the Hitchhikers guid. I own every one in hardcover and have 2 full series books, one of which is starting to fall apart as I have read it 50 or so times.
