I was looking at the complete list of Kazaa names that have been named in the RIAA (which sucks by the way) lawsuit and I was looking for my username... and there it was! ... followed by a "1". I almost shat myself. LOL.

Anyway, check this out:

Supposedly, those are the names that the RIAA (which sucks by-the-way) is seeking information on and that have been subpeonaed (sp?). So basically, they are going to try and sue you.

guy, how many files were you sharing? are they going after those who shared the most or just randomly selecting people?

They are going after what are know as "Super-users". From what I understand, they are targeting people that are "distributing" large amounts of files.

I can't tell you what the RIAA (which sucks by-the-way) is considering "large" amounts because, from what I understand, there is no predefined amount.

As for how many files I was sharing... I don't know an exact number, but at one time I had a 10GB drive named Kazaa.

btw Ã…nubis what do you mean by Hugh Heffner sueing? i have never seen much playboy videos on kazaa or from searching with any other p2p program. Hugh Heffner doesn't own all of the world's porn.
