currently right now.... the fact that I have blown up about $370 worth of computer hardware in the last 4 week.

4 Week Ago - My UPS thanks to a power surge. $200 to replace.

Last Week End - My PSU. Come with a 5 year manufacture's warranty. The distributor has told me to send it directly overseas to the manufactuer. Screw that, I just buy me a new PSU. $170

Thank goodness I work in wholesale so I don't have to pay full retail for these items.

I spent 1200 last month

Most of it wasnt PC's, and it was paying off a few things and a new wardrobe

And last night (after I just installed my NEW Cooler Master 550 Watt PSU into my computer, i got my dad (Captain Planet himself) telling me that I should send my 400 Watt PSU off to the states for repair.

I am thinking "YEAH, RIGHT. I am going to spend six weeks of my time and my money on a 400 Watt PSU that got discontinued and recalled due to a factory fault."

Like the Just Cooler PSU was one of the first Silent PSU out on the market. The fan design was the only selling point of it at it was quiet (while there was no dusk inside).
Apart from that, that actual Power Supply Unit had no guts in it. I think the 400 Watt was it peak. Because there was a few time where my computer did not start until I unplug and replugs one of my drives.
And my boss got rid of his Just Cooler 400 PSU early as it did not carry enough juice to keep his tower of power up and running.

I keep on explaining to my old man, it's a shit power supply, it not worth repairing. But then again, I am also talking to some one that rescued 4x APPLE IIe just so I can get one up and working again, just so I can play games like ZORK, STICKY BEARS and QUEST FOR THE MOST AMAZING THING.
I was playing Unreal Tornament at the time when he announced this to me.
