8600GTS Out Today!!

God No !. Same price as equivalent powered X1950Pro's... But its DX10 which means i can play Crysis. All hail 8600GTS .

I'd dbout that. I'm running a GTS and it's pulling 40-50s in Test Drive Unlimited (Which kick ARSE btw). It's no DX10 but it does have motion blur, full enviroments with real mountains etc.

Anyway, I am dissapointed in the 8600 GTS. It's DX10 sure, but the other cards are already struggling with DX9 again.

for those who don't like the price: keep in mind the GTS wasn't released alone. There are cheaper models. These weren't meant to be some boooyah bad *** thing, they're just replacements and DX10. If you need an upgrade, pick a price budget and choose one you like... Same as always.

On a more speculative note: I'd like to see 512mb models like the 7900gs's and then I'll absolutely get one. 256 seems like it won't last much longer (though really you only need a little more)
