$500 Just went to waste, I think

I spent about $500 on paintball gear about a week ago. Why? I liked playing paintball. I went twice, and figured, ****, I want to play alot more, so I went about bought a smart parts ion, 47/3000psi tank, mask, and a reovlution hopper, all came out to about $500 canadian. I'm thinking, wow, I just made the worst purchase on Earth.

I'm not going to be playing as much as I wanted, paintball entrance fees+paintballs cost alot themselves atleast 30-40 bucks a visit, I'm relying on my friend to drive me there and back, and that depends on how much HES going.

Thats why i think before i purchase something exspensive. Paintball is getting quite popular around here so i was thinking i should get some paintball gear.

Thats EXACTLY what i felt after i bought my gun. I played a handfull of times over 3 years. Luckily i only spent a relativley low amount ($180) on mine so i think i got most of it back in fun time.

You could try too selll it or get a refund if you feel that passionatly about it.

I like airsofting better anyways, the guns don't look gay.

This is one of those life lessions... next time think a little bit before you commit yourself to an expensive hobby.

Yeah, same. I only have a Glock at the moment though. My friend has a MP5. And I know someone else with some kind of sniper rifle with a scope and all that stuff.

the only fun way to play airsoft is to play in your boxers, and paint ball guns arent gay They acctually look much cooler, and they are sleek. I wish I coulf afford paintball gear. Oh well...guess Il have to stick to my tannerite bombs and my 308.

Ive never tried paintballing, but i airsoft with my friends sometimes. Airsofting doesnt hurt as much as getting hit with a big paintball.

well if this was the first time you bought gear, a smart parts ion is a great gun, but if your like me (which you are) and cant afford to get in every time, or have no one to drive you, you should of gotten a good woodsball gun, unless there's no woods around where you live.

but if you've been playing for a couple moths to a year and didnt just start off playing disregard this entire post

or you could of done what i did and am still in the process of doing, buy a cheap gun (such as a spyder or a tippman 98c) and see if everyone you play with is stil gonna be playing the next year or they're just gonna get bored with it and give up paintball. well i realized that after i got my gun and played a few times i realized that i love playing paintball as much as porn, or maybe more. so after i buy my computer at the end of school im getting a WGP 05 prostock and a bunch of other **** so i can play better than with just my spyder. god i cant wait till summer.
