Default Desperatly in need of help!

hi,
I am building a new computer for a friend and have a recurring problem with sis 963 chipsets. I can get the pc to boot.. everything runs smooth.. cpu, hard drive, ram and all other components are found without a problem however my keyboard just doesnt seem to work! I have tried everything.. i have run it with and without a mouse.. in both ps/2 slots.. i have changed the pin for +5VSB thingy and tried all different combinations.. iv tried it with 3 different keyboards.. none of which seem to work.. all 3 keyboards work fine on my pc.. this is really infuriating as this is the second motherboard (by different manufcaturers.. ASrock and Asus) that have done this to me.. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you guys in advance
