Default Connecting computers

First off, I have no idea if this is possible or not. Is it possible to connect a processor to my laptop so that I use my laptop screen with a separate processor?

You mean you want to run your laptop with another processor than the one in your laptop?

Sorry, I worded this poorly.

So what I'm wondering is this...could I buy say a Gateway desktop computer and take the processor and hook it up to my laptop?

I'm assuming I can'

Please post the specs of both computers. Motherboard/CPU etc.
