If i were you I would go for a better mobo, one with an Nvidia chipset for example. While many people don't think so mobos make a big difference and the Nvidia ones are good. Looking at the detailed pic of the mobo.
You'll notice some big capacitors next to the CPU socket, as such you'll have to use the stock AMD heatsink or a thermalright
As is standard with AMD compatable Mobos you will notice 3 RAM slots, only use two of them otherwise your dual channel dies. Also make sure you buy 2x256Mb RAM chips, since otherwise you won't get the dual channel mode in the first place.
Your right to go for the Nvidia graphics card though, they are better than ATI for lower spec cards.
