I vote for 512mb ram if XP is the operating system. Everything else sounds fine.

Looks alright, but if you WERE to upgrade the RAM, I would opt for PC3200 instead of PC2700, before I went to 512mb of 2700. 256mb is enough to run basic applications though.

those specs will be fine for what you do. Few recommendations tho:
if u dont wana upgrade to 512, get pc3200 instead of 2700
get the 9600le

Yes you do need more ram. I suggest 512mb Ram. Your computer wont like to multitask thats for sure.
