ZoneAlarm / Windows SP2 Firewall

Hey,

Just built a new system and have my choice of 3 firewalls. Here's the deal.....

I have:
Windows Firewall from SP2
NVidia Firewall that came w/ my mobo
ZoneAlarm Pro 6 (paid for it)

So, obviously, I chose to run w/ ZoneAlarm

However, I notice that when i run zonealarm as the firewall, under Windows Security Center, under "Firewall", it says:
"ZoneAlarm Pro Firewall is currently ON........"

However, if i goto "manage security settings for: windows firewall", it says "Windows Firewall Off (not recommended)"

Is this supposed to happen? Does zonealarm OVERRIDE windows firewall? Or is it possible to keep both up and running?

Seems like ZA always turns off Windows Firewall.

any idea why my windows Firewall is always set to 'off' ? seems like the ZA is setting it

You should only run one firewall at a time to avoid conflicts.

Zone Alarm is much better than the SP2 firewall. The SP2 firewall only block inbound threats.

za pro i use it and its the best never failed any leaktests but that reason is because i use a hardware firewall if you really want real protection get this.

and windows actually turns of its firewall because it might conflict with za.
