recently contracted worm virus alcra b from limewire(ta very much) and wondered if anyone out there could tell me how to get rid of this thing!!!!!!!!! ran my antivir and she tells me that i have infected archive files. any help would be very much appreciated!

I like how you called your AV she. Anyway if your AV gives you options to delete try that. Otherwise you may have to remove it manually, Symantec gives a good guide here, and Sophos here

If your not confident then post back and people should help you out more. Reading how you can get the virus you should be more secure, hopefully it teachs you a learn.

thanks v much my good man,went through sophos and did what it asked ;however still getting the archive file infected thigumybob on my antivir, is there any thing i can do on that score as antivir cannat delete archive files????
