Windows security alert

Ok i somehow have gotten an annoying security alert that stays in my task bar and throws a bubble at me every once in a while, saying that i have a lot of spyware running. When i click the bubble it sends me here-http://antivermins.com/?aff=334
It wants me to download anti vermins and pay for it. Im not doing that, especially when spybot works good at cleaning out spyware. Spybot will delete everything it finds, but this annoying security alert wont go away. Any suggestions as to how i make this thing go away?

Ok i went over the guide, and decided as a first step to just use a few different programs. Ad aware picked up that anti vermins its self was spyware(i thought that might be the case) and deleted it. No more problems here
