Windows Firewall Broken / Malware?

Hey guys,

I wasn't careful today. I downloaded a "key generator" for a certain program, and once I clicked on the ".exe", the program just disappeared. The only difference I noticed on my computer was that Windows Firewall was disabled. When I try to open it, I get the following error message: "Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings."

I couldnt see anything in your log just browsing it now, I would say download comodo from my sig and install so you have a firewall. Then proceed to follow warez monsters guide in my sig to make sure your computer is clean.

better user interface and is very stable, but I still use zonealarm as im used to it now. Comodo is very good and reliable though just easier to use.

I suggest getting Mcaffee 2007 it's pretty great and doesn't take huge space and has a very simple user interface.

worst suggestion ever! McAfee is one of the worse anti virus software products out there next to norton avoid at all costs. Check my sig below for some great free ones or if you do spend money buy NOD32 or Kaspersky.
