I have a co-worker who got this fake anti virus on her computer that seems to disable all features that will allow you to remove it. MBAM doesn't remove it nor does AVG. The problem is that it disables all exe's and run commands. cmbofix didn't get it either. I was wondering if you had encountered this particular virus or one with similar characteristics? I think this is a new one.

Try manually deleting the folder for it in safe mode. (Shift + Delete)
(Can also try running malwarebytes in safe mode)
Or try using hijackthis's delete on reboot feature.
A reinstall of the OS may be required.

I've found that you have to rename the .exe of malwarebytes right when it installs so that the virus doesn't rename it.
You could also do all this in safemode, in which case the windows pro doesn't start so you can properly install malwarebytes.
