So, my friends computer has some how gotten Windows Advanced Security Essentials on it, and the logo on the desktop reads Internet Security Essentials. Anyway, I know its crap, its a virus. But I dont know how to get it off.

How can I remove Windows Advanced Security Essentials?

I myself use Micrsoft Security Essentials on my laptop and its awesome. So I downloaded it onto hers. Well when I click on the tab to run it, I get a pop up message reading: This opperation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contanct your system administrator.

First of all, what? and why? And how do I get this message to go away? HELP!!!
I need to get a anti-virus protection onto her computer!

Thanks

Start in Safe Mode to try and remove this. Make sure to download MBAM and Combofix and run those from Safe Mode as well.

^ true..

I just got rid of it myself. You can go through MSCONFIG to shut it off temporarily. (that's how I did it. But mine would only run in Safe mode.) Then I traced it back and deleted it, then ran CF, MSE, MWB a couple times. Mine was VirC or some weird program that got in and ghosted as my MSE. Check down a couple threads, I posted about it.
