WDC.exe Help

Vista has been acting up recently so I have been searching through the running process list. I found a suspicious executable called WDC.exe. I did some research on the web and found out it was spyware related to Spyware.WatchDog. I also saw somewhere that it was part of Windows Defender (or something like that).
Any help on identifying WDC.exe?
