I just threw my brother's old hard drive in an external enclosure, thinking that it didnt have anything on it. It does, and it has viruses. Now, as you might expect, I have viruses.

I rebooted in safe mode and ran Norton and spysweeper (a full sweep and a sweep of the external in both programs). I deleted all of the viruses and adware that they found through the programs and they said that all was deleted successfuly.

When i reboted normally, however, i began to get the "norton has identified and deleted a security risk" (or whatever they say) messages. Sometimes they sat that the virus has been deleted succssfully, and sometimes they say that access to the file is denied. The virus listed is always W32.ronoper.worm

So how can i get rid of this thing?? Its an old virus (2003) so someone has got to have something...

Thanks in advance

-Tristan
