Earlier today, the second computer on my network got a virus. (I am typing this from pc1) After that infection, that computer (pc2) ceased to be able to reach the internet, but this computer has no problems. Both computers are connected to a router, which is connected to a modem, which is connected toComcast broadband cable.
Is it possible for a virus to block you from the internet?
Right now, the infected computer is in safe mode running avast, Avg and ad-adware scans. after that ill turn off both comptuers, unplug the modem and router and then plug them back in; and see if that works (but again, why would only one computer have problems )?
thanks
