virus detection????

My adware is detecting a trojan downloader but it can't get rid of it. When I try finding the virus on norton nothing shows up. Any information regarding this would be helpful.

what is the downloader? what adware program are you running? Please provide more information.

try the forums malware removal guide and post a hijackthis log when your done. only way really, I don't think anyone will have a quick fix for you.
