I've been downloading torrents for a year and a half now and haven't gotten anything much worse than a program that opens itself 5 times and just generally takes up visual space.

What do you consider safe? I download torrents all the time and have never had any issues in terms of viruses or spyware. But if you dont want people to know your downloading something you are using the wrong program.
