If you buy the full retail version. Spyware Terminator, Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, Ewido, and a few others surpass that one however.

well im going to install avast free trial on the upstairs computer now.
Although i have a question about spyware:
Which is better: Spybot S&D or spyware blaster?
Spybot does have an immune feature, but you utilize that, does it have to load on startup?

Spybot S&D outdoes Spyware Blaster as a general rule. I ran SB briefly and ended up dumping it fast. The best one at the present time was already named in the prior post namely Spyware Terminator. The active protection process acts like a form of firewall which alerts you to any changes made to the system. Plus it cleans off more data miners then Ad-Aware 2007.
