Get Zone alarm. It is a firewall, spyware detector, virus detector and pop up and advert blocker. It is pretty cheap too

Unless you want a pirated version of zonealarm pro which u can get sued for... i'd use MS anti-spyware just as shawn mentioned

zonealarm is also a great firewall and free
