spyware on my pc

On my PC i have this "Please Select your Country" that pops up and i cannot get rid of it,
When i try to go into my yahoo mail i get redirected to another site.
In the bottom right hand corner of my screen i get a "search the web window" . I have downloaded Spybot and Adaware and ran a norton virus scan but nothing is working, please tell me how to fix this.

Try Microsoft AntiSpyware. It is a free download from Microsoft's web site, as long as you have a legal copy of Windows.

It is also rather good.

I also suggest that you read some of the sticky threads at the top of this forum. There is a lot of good information on finding and getting rid of the problems (malware, viruses, etc.).

Next time you should look into other spyware solutions. Not spyware removal, but more like spyware prevention.

Using an alternative Browser that is properly configured is a good idea

Browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Opera.
