Slow Comppppp Too many DL's

Hey guys I realized after I downloaded many seasons of episodes of shows that I was getting uncomfortable lag on my computer. It seems a lot slower than it originally was, I deleted all the episodes on my computer but some of the loading and opening of windows is extremely slow. If you guys know of any techniques to amp up my computer, do so and tell! lol thanks guys
