Hello all,

My personal email address, on a domain that I own, has somehow managed to get onto one or more spam lists. I never use this email to sign up for things, I only give it out to actual people to contact me.

Unfortunately, I'm getting hit with 50-60 pieces of spam mail a day. I try to use Microsoft Outlook to block the sender domains, but there seem to be an endless number of them. I'm starting to look at spam blocking/filtering programs and I just wanted to see if there was one that was recommended (or perhaps another course of action that I should take?)

As always, I sincerely appreciate the help. Thank you!

Does the domain provider not have a spam filter you can enable on their end?

They do but at an extra monthly cost. For the amount of spam I'm receiving now, I may opt for that route instead of setting up a new personal email.

Can you trace the ip of the sender?

I'm actually reading up on how to do that now.

Edit: I'm using Outlook 2010 as my email client. It appears blocking email at the IP level is not possible there. Unless you were indicating to block it at the firewall? I did a quick ping of some of the domains in my inbox and a lot of them came back as not existing anymore.
