Is this a good tool to use for removing that d***ed AntiVirus 2009 ad bar in my friends IE? MalwareBytes removed it from the computer, but not the browser.

Actually, I was referring to the software ProcessExplorer to see if would ultimately help with a malware issue. I'm not asking about the malware itself...but if you think this is the more appropriate section, ok.

It can help yes, but the guide is the best bet, also try doing a IE reset, it can be found somewhere in the IE settings. I havent seen AV2009 do toolbars in IE before...
