Postive Finds Adware removal help

Hi All,

I have an adware spy bot on my windows 8 desktop its called Postive Finds not sure how to remove it it was orginally installed in my add/remove programs section of control panel

so i removed it but i want to know what else i need to do to get rid of it spybot search n destory didnt do anything n still poping up.

can anyone help?

So uninstalling it did not uninstall it? Can you provide screenshots of it? can you try a system restore to a date before you installed it?

Spybot Search & Destroy hasn't been very good for years IMO.

Run a full scan with Malwarebytes Antimalware: https://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/

Remove anything that it finds. Reboot, and after you're booted back up, install AdwCleaner: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/
Run the scan and remove anything it finds as well. Again, reboot after you've cleaned using it.

After that, run HiJackThis from here: HiJackThis | SourceForge.net

Post the contents logfile that it generates (copying / pasting the contents of the log is fine) - DO NOT remove anything unless told to do so. You can do damage to your system if you remove the wrong item(s).
