Osiris, was this a problem ad-aware wouldn't have detected? I've had bad luck with pcpitstop myself. I think it makes changes to the registry? Did nbrinkmann do a windows update in-between posting? I was curious why ccleaner didn't come into play? BTW good job on fixing the problem
