PC Diagnostic Software

I am wondering what is a reliable program i can run for friends and family members that ask me to fix their computer when i have no idea whats wrong with it, Curious to know if there is a program i can buy that will scan all hardware and software and give me a reading with whats faulty. Anything close to this would be helpful i just need something to save me some time.

This, would be a life saver for a lot of us, and would put a lot of techs out of work.

The closest you can get is a Hirens boot cd, or the geeksquad MRI cd, good luck with the last one, as it isn't legal to own a copy.

As said above, there is no such peice of software. There is nothing that scans both hardware and software then can just give you a print out of whats faulty and needs to be fixed. If there was, as c0rr0sive said, it would be putting every tech in the world out of a job and every call center out.

Hirens is good, the MRI CD is decent. But they are not end all tools.
