I recently have had some problems with my computer, although I keep it rather clean and don't download porn. I scanned it with nod32 it found quite a few infections and removed them no problem, except 3. These 3 it won't remove - outlook.exe; worm/VB.SO, p.zip; worm/VB.SO and v.tmp; worm/VB.SO. I am currently running AVG free edition and as I thought it would, it's picked these 3 virus` up. I am nearly finished with the scan but even though it hasn't finished I am sure it should of removed them or quarrentined them, but it hasn't. Any ideas how to clean these files, or could I just uninstall outlook as I don't use it? Your help will be appreciated, you can find my HJT log in the appropriate section.

It said at the end of the scan "3 files healed" are they fixed now?!?

Nevermind it changed it for some reason now it says they was deleted... WEEEEEE

If it says healed or there in the virus vault then yes thats the problem fixed, just go into the vault and delete the files if you dont want them there

Be sure to remove Java and any app's that rely on Java such as Limewire. That particular worm is a nasty one. You should also check Windows Update to ensure your running all the latest patches.

If you see the infection returns, post a hijackthis log so we can further diagnose your machine.
