Nod32 or Bitdefender?

Hi all.

I need a new antivirus and have heard both good and bad about both of these a/vs. Which one is better for detection and also not being a system hog?

Hi,

I don't use either, but NOD32 by all accounts has excellent detection rates and is a lightweight program, however its not free.

I personally use AVG 7.5 for antivirus, and A Squared for trojans, AVG is lightweight, good detection, free & easy to use.

If you update & scan with these every week or two I'm sure you'd be pleased.
