my firewall!!!

when i each time i download things , my zonelarm pro 4 sum reason slows down my download, so i hav 2 disable it so the download can run faster, can anyone help me so my downloads can run normal while still being protected??

Make sure Program control is set to medium,

I won't disable the firewall no matter what, you could test out another firewall to see if there is any improvements with your download speeds when the firewall is activated,

When you turn off ZoneAlarm, turn on Windows Firewall. You need some type of protection when you trouble shoot. Do not turn both firewalls on at same time. They will conflict.
