After reading this thread, I am downloading Firefox as I type. Hope it is as good as everyone says.

software can not give you a differen't IP, your IP is determined by ur ISP, network setup and type of connection IE (Cable, DSl, ISDN, Dial up).

What sources.

yeah about 80% of posters here use anything but IE

i use FF myself

Firefox is great. I can't believe I have been using IE so long. It warns me before sending any data over an unencrypted site etc. I am very happy with it.

It all basically comes down to the user. Any browser will work. Its only as safe as the user using it. I use IE 7.

ie7 is still beta, is it actally safe to use or is it all buggy?
